I get the whole dole thing. When I dropped out of school I didn’t have a clue what I wanted to do and couldn’t find work anywhere. Put off signing on for a few weeks then got too desperate. Then my mum had the heart attack and, along with other thing, inspired me to do health care. I wish it never happened but I’m sure if it didn’t I’d be doing something I don’t want to do, but now I’m helping people, so in a weird way something good came out of it.
Something will come along though dude. Always does and nothing ends up like you expect it to. 5 Months ago I wouldn’t have thought in a million years I’d be doing what I’m doing now. Nothing happens like you imagine it will.

I used to be really artistic …

I used to have a great imagination - yet I’ve been sat here with my sketch pad for like an hour trying to figure out how to draw this tattoo that I’ll hopefully be getting for my 19th - and I can’t figure out anything. I know I’m not good enough to draw a finished peice - I just want a rough idea to show to the artist and then have him draw it up.
I’m trying to incorporate headphones, musical notes (semiquaver, bass clef, beamed note, treble clef), and a dog’s paw into one design. I thought I could make the paw go in well but I think I might just get the headphones and notes and have a seperate paw tattoo some other time..

PICK 5 BANDS

1. Tool

2. Pink Floyd

3. Metallica

4. Pearl Jam

5. Mumford and Sons (SWEEERRVE)

I can already tell attempting this is a bad idea. It took me half an hour to pick those 5 bands. Undecisive as shit.

ALL ABOUT NUMBER 1 : TOOL

FAVORITE MEMBER: Danny Carey for his incredible unmatched drumming, Maynard Keenan because he doesn’t hold back when playing live, and writes probably the best lyrics I’ve ever heard..

FAVORITE SONG(S): Eulogy, H., Parabol & Parabola.

FAVORITE ALBUM: Aenima

SEEN THEM IN CONCERT(IF SO WHERE, WHEN): No.

MOST PLAYED SONG ON YOUR ITUNES/IPOD: Sober.

FAN SINCE: About this time last year I think. When I first met my cousin’s band’s drummer.

FAVORITE THING ABOUT THEM: Opinionated. Unpretentious.

WHERE DID YOU HEAR FROM THEM: I’ve known about them for years but I didn’t really listen to them until I heard my cousin’s old band’s drummers ringtone, which was Aenima, and I thought the opening riff sounded incredible.

ENCOUNTERS(IF SO, WHERE, WHEN): Nope. I just realised I haven’t even seen any of these 5 bands live. Good choices there, Jamie.

ALL ABOUT NUMBER 2 : Pink Floyd.

FAVORITE MEMBER: David Gilmour.

FAVORITE SONG(S): Time. Have a Cigar.

FAVORITE ALBUM: Wish You Were Here for the individual songs but Dark Side of the Moon as a whole album is a masterpeice.

MOST PLAYED SONG ON YOUR ITUNES/IPOD: Comfortably Numb. Because I was trying to learn the guitar solo. I failed miserably.

SEEN THEM IN CONCERT(IF SO WHERE, WHEN): Nope.

FAN SINCE: Since I heard Another Brick in the Wall when I was a kid probably, and thought “yeah! Fuck those teachers!”

FAVORITE THING ABOUT THEM: Great arrangements, great music, distinctive sound.

WHERE DID YOU HEAR FROM THEM: My dad when I was a kid probably.

ENCOUNTERS(IF SO, WHERE, WHEN): None…

ALL ABOUT NUMBER 3 :  Metallica

FAVORITE MEMBER: Kirk Hammett.

FAVORITE SONG(S): Damage Inc. Of Wolf and Man.

FAVORITE ALBUM: Depends what mood I’m in/what I feel like listening too. I’m gonna go with the obvious answer of Puppets though.

SEEN THEM IN CONCERT(IF SO WHERE, WHEN): Your making me depressed with these questions.

MOST PLAYED SONG ON YOUR ITUNES/IPOD: Battery

FAN SINCE: Fuck knows.

FAVORITE THING ABOUT THEM: Their first 4 albums felt, in the actual sense of the word, not just the internet meme, epic.

WHERE DID YOU HEAR FROM THEM: Not a clue.

ENCOUNTERS(IF SO, WHERE, WHEN): None …

ALL ABOUT NUMBER 4 : Pearl Jam

FAVORITE MEMBER: Vedder and McCready.

FAVORITE SONG(S): Dissident, Glorified G, Alive, Last Kiss.

 FAVORITE ALBUM: Ten

SEEN THEM IN CONCERT(IF SO WHERE, WHEN): Fuck off.

MOST PLAYED SONG ON YOUR ITUNES/IPOD: Jeremy.

FAN SINCE: I remember hearing Even Flow on an old PS1 game. Not sure what game it was, maybe Tony Hawk.

FAVORITE THING ABOUT THEM: Even if they did jump on the grunge bandwagon, they did grunge like no one else ever did grunge.

WHERE DID YOU HEAR FROM THEM: Even Flow. PS1 game. Maybe Tony Hawk.

ENCOUNTERS(IF SO, WHERE, WHEN): Fuck off.

ALL ABOUT NUMBER 5 : Mumford and Sons

FAVORITE MEMBER: Ben Lovett. He always looks insanely happy when he’s playing.

FAVORITE SONG(S):: Timshel, I Gave You All, Dustbowl Dance.

FAVORITE ALBUM: Sigh No More. They’re only album … so far.

SEEN THEM IN CONCERT? (IF SO WHERE/WHEN): Fuck off.

MOST PLAYED SONG ON YOUR ITUNES/IPOD: Timshel.

FAN SINCE: Bought Sigh No More when it came out in 2009. Never looked back.

FAVORITE THING ABOUT THEM: Their lyrics are based on literature. Timshel is based on my favourite book, East of Eden.

WHERE DID YOU HEAR FROM THEM: When The Cave was in the charts I probably heard it on the radio a million times.

ENCOUNTERS(IF SO, WHERE, WHEN): Fuck off.

So I’m listening to Dark Side of the Moon on Winamp checking out some random presets and then this triangle thing comes up and I’m like WOAH THAT LOOKS LIKE THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON ALBUM COVER, and then I check the preset name and it’s actually called “Dark Side of the Moon.” Awesome.
